1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
bay leaf
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
Cook over medium heat until sauce comes to a boil
Lower heat, simmer covered for 30-45 minutes until desired thickness
